Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our furniture & floor covering team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for maintaining the sales floor, assisting customers with their purchases, and supporting store operations.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
Skills
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to perform stock duties effectively, including restocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and provide product knowledge.
- Experience with product demonstrations is a plus, particularly in a grocery store setting.
- Supervisory skills are advantageous for leading team members effectively.
