Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aviation mechanics and avionics, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. This role requires a meticulous approach to maintenance and repair, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance for our aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems, including engines, avionics, and airframes.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Fabricate components as necessary to ensure aircraft functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform soldering and welding tasks to repair or modify aircraft parts.
  • Execute root cause analysis on mechanical failures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed on each aircraft.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician or in a similar role within the aviation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of avionics systems and mechanical components related to aircraft operations.
  • Familiarity with military standards and practices is a plus.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals related to aircraft maintenance.
  • Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and techniques as required.
  • Experience with soldering, welding, and other fabrication methods is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards in all maintenance activities.
  • Proficient working remotely.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
