Job Responsibilities:
- Operate power saws to cut, slot, groove, miter, and trim metallic and nonmetallic workpieces according to specifications
- Receive inventory for the shop and deburr/finish parts
- Work in a safe manner always following established policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possess and maintain a valid PA driver's license with safe driving history
- Experience operating a saw, hand tools, etc.
- Experience with forklift, tow motor, pallet jack
- Understanding of shop mathematics together with engineering drawings, specifications, and various types of precision measuring instruments
- Computer skills
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions, to communicate effectively with transportation vendors, and legibly complete required paperwork
