Position Opportunity
Astro Pak's Recruiter will own the full life cycle recruitment and onboarding process for the organization. The Recruiter will create the candidate journey from initial engagement through developing a qualified pipeline. This person will partner with the organization’s hiring managers to understand open positions and deliver on candidate talent. The Recruiter must be detail and process-oriented and motivated in helping Astro Pak find the talented people we need to be successful today and well into the future.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct and handle all areas of the recruiting process for all Manager-level and below positions for the organization
- Work closely with key organizational leaders to understand and proactively take initiative on hiring business needs
- Implement recruiting process throughout all open positions and departments
- Review, make suggestions, and updates to requested job requisition forms from hiring managers
- Conduct all intake calls with hiring managers on open positions
- Own the onboarding process for all new candidates including offer letter, background check, IT equipment etc.
- Act as organization’s main point of contact for all candidate engagement
- Act as a key player in continuous process improvement with interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Conduct check-ins with new hires at standard onboarding milestone days
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal key partners including a high level of communication on the process and status of open positions
- Track recruiting data and metrics for the purpose of reflection and understanding success factors
- Maintain and update Applicant records by leveraging Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including EEO information
- Maintain professional relationships with temporary staffing agencies and other resources that support Astro Pak hiring
- Own the temporary employee process, including but not limited to communication to appropriate internal teams, tracking labor costs and conversion after the minimum hours worked
- Administer the Employee Referral Program and Sign-On Bonus Progra
Education/Training/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent relevant job experience preferred. High school degree required.
Related Experience: 2-5 years of recruiting experience needed; Multi-site location support experience needed; High volume experience preferred; direct labor hiring in a service industry preferred. Previous experience working on an HR team preferred.

- Understanding of human resources policies and procedures
- Must have high emotional intelligence and relationship building skills
- Process and data-driven
- Strong communication skills with the ability to multi-task
- Must be detail-oriented and organized
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
