What You Will Do :
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Production team. The Painter / Finisher is responsible for preparing, mixing, painting, assembling, and finishing of various instruments and assemblies in production as well as the touchup of customer products returned for repair. Additionally, the incumbent would operate the die press, arbor press, and other various tools used in the production process.
This on-site position is located at our headquarters in Oak Creek Wisconsin. You will report directly to the Supervisor of Receiving & Shipping and Finishing / Prep.
How You Will Do It :
- Performs painting and finishing of various parts, and final assemblies using spray gun, airbrush, and paint booth.
- Performs cleaning, masking, and prep work before painting and finishing.
- Uses paint mixer to mix various types of paint per specification.
- Uses calipers, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and other hand tools to perform assembly or disassembly of assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Uses arbor press, drill press, and various other pieces of equipment for assembly and finishing work.
- Follows shop orders, engineering drawings, or production work instructions.
