What You Will Do :
We are seeking a Reliability Engineer II. In this role, you will interface with the customer, provide statistics on reliability performance, and analyze internal and external performance data for failure trends. You will perform corrective action and preventative analysis activities based on the data gathered. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and passionate about ensuring quality in the design and production of state-of-the-art avionics products.
This on-site position is based at our headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. You will report directly to the Director of Quality Assurance, Safety, and Certification.
How You Will Do It :
- Identify and facilitate the corrective action process. This includes coordinating investigations, implementing activities, and auditing for effectiveness.
- Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality defects to prevent recurrence and future defects.
- Identify and raise quality issues and speedily resolve them to ensure zero impact on the customer.
- Coordinate and prepare the reliability performance output and review it with the customer.
- Review customer requirements for applicability. Participate in project launches and program reviews.
- Review, analyze, and assess life cycle data through periodic sampling.
- Perform root cause analysis and identify and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate teams to review, create, release, and maintain corrective action and continuous improvement activities.
- Facilitate and coordinate process improvement for Quality Management Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning. (ERP).
- Participate in supplier management activities.
- Coordination, collection, and analysis of Quality Objective and Key Process / Product Indicator (KPI) metrics for new product and field returns.
