Job Description:
Astronics LSI is seeking a highly skilled manufacturing professional to fill the role of Entry Level CNC Machinist. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, inspecting products, and ensuring quality control standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines, milling machines, boring machines, and grinders to machine metallic and non-metallic workpieces
- Perform tasks such as tending machines, using a band saw or standing saw, positioning and aligning parts, and performing quality control inspections
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality control standards
- Follow instructions and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing
- Computer skills and knowledge of CNC machines
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Team player with a willingness to accept supervision and assistance
