DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESParticipate as a core team member on a product development programDesign, analysis, and documentation of circuits or a circuit card assembly CCA module.Test and troubleshoot initial builds of new design CCAs to acquire development data.Analyze electrical circuitsResearch electrical devices and apply to new designsResearch and select circuit components based on performance, cost, and availabilitySelects appropriate off-the-shelf components.Evaluate qualification test results and identify design improvements, as neededCoordinate, organize, and participate in analysis, design, development, and qualifications as assigned.Prepare and present technical information to the leadership team. Act as technical liaison to other functional groups as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation / Experience :Bachelors degree in Electrical EngineeringRecent graduate with relevant internship involvement, to four (4) years of related experienceExperience with and interest in digital electronics and high-speed communicationKnowledge, Skills & Abilities :Skill to design high speed electrical circuits, including thermal considerationsAbility to multi-task across multiple projectsSkill to create project design documentationAbility to interpret industry standardsSkill to perform initial hardware functional testingAbility to use circuit simulation tools to inform a design approachAbility to perform PCB analysis in PADS or equivalentAbility to present technical presentations to internal and external groupsAbility to work in a fast paced, team structured environment.Some analog design and programming experience preferredEMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSAs a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by _International Traffic in Arms Regulations_ (ITAR).Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible.An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing pre-employment background check anddrug test which includes screening for the use of cannabisBase salary range for this position is $79,923- $108,940 per year.Several job-related and non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience in comparable roles, skill sets, training, education, licensure or certifications, other qualifications, market conditions and business needs influence actual salary offered.
