Astroscale U.S. Inc. is currently seeking a Launch & Operations Engineer to join our team in our Denver, Colorado location. In this role, you will perform launch preparation and launch support activities. You will plan for and help operate satellites in Launch and Early Orbit Phase as well as during other mission phases. You will be integral to developing the on-orbit servicing solutions that will deliver our vision of a sustainable space environment.
Job Description
- Manage one or more satellite launch campaigns simultaneously.
- Shape satellite design and testing requirements for launch vehicle compatibility including mechanical, electrical, and thermal.
- Manage interfaces with launch providers, launch integrators, bus providers, ground vendors and other related vendors.
- Analyze and verify environmental and physical interface analysis and inputs for launch deliverables.
- Manage pre-ship environmental updates and traceability and activities to ready the spacecraft for launch, including shipping paperwork for the launch site.
- Manage launch site activities, including packing, unpacking, functional testing, and ground compatibility testing for both spacecraft and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
- Develop test plans, operational plans, and procedures for the launch and early orbit mission phase.
- Support satellite operations including anomaly resolution during all mission phases when not actively supporting a launch.
- Travel to launch and vendor sites as needed.

Salary range : $120k-145k. The salary range represents the low and high end of the Astroscale U.S. Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, knowledge, and ability as applicable to the role.
