Job Purpose
Sportgroup Americas is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Operations Planning/Execution (S&OP/E) Manager to lead and optimize our S&OP (longer term) and S&OE (short term) processes. This critical role will ensure alignment across sales, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and logistics to meet our operational and strategic objectives. As the S&OP/E Manager, you will be instrumental in driving collaboration, enhancing forecast accuracy, and improving inventory and production planning to support our growth in the artificial turf industry
Duties and Responsibilities
S&OP/E Leadership
- Develop, lead, and continuously improve the S&OP and S&OE processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to create demand and supply plans that balance customer needs, production capacity, and inventory goals.
- Act as the primary process owner of the S&OP and S&OE framework, coordinating stakeholders and driving accountability for actions and results.
Demand Planning
- Collaborate with the sales team to build demand forecasts inclusive of promotions, seasonality, and customer trends.
- Summarize sales forecasts and analysis to the operations team, ensuring demand signals are clear and actionable.
- Monitor demand variability and facilitate the adjustment of forecasts to mitigate risks to production and delivery
Supply Planning
- Partner with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize production schedules, manage raw material inventory, and address supply constraints.
- Support operations teams in the use of capacity and inventory simulations to anticipate risks and develop contingency plans.
- Work with the operations team to evaluate production changeovers, outsourcing opportunities, and other strategies to improve operational efficiency, keeping the sales teams informed of shifts in production strategy
Performance Management
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, on-time delivery, and production adherence.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on S&OP and S&OE performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of S&OP and S&OE processes
Team and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, finance, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of S&OP and S&OE outputs with business goals.
- Facilitate monthly cycle for S&OP, and weekly cucle for S&OE meetings, fostering data-driven decision-making and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Mentor and develop team members involved in S&OP and S&OE activities, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, supply chain, or production planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of implementing and improving S&OP processes in a small-to-midsized organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
- Experience with supply chain management software and inventory optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership skills to drive change, develop team capabilities, and foster cross-functional collaboration
