Description
• Functioned as a bridge between the corporate safety department and facilities production/maintenance teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on safety matters.
• Collaborate with managers and supervisors to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
• Serve as key member and organizer of the Safety Committee, compiling and filing meeting minutes.
• Maintain programs that ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Review details of projects as required for compliance with standards.
• Conduct new-employee orientations and site specific orientations
• Perform lift truck certifications
• Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions
• Assist in all HR projects and functions
• Review and develop safety policies, procedures, SOP’s and safety training
• Speeding Tickets: ensure tickets are approved for payment and payroll deduction is assigned to the appropriate employee
• Assist with Accident Investigations procedures for personal injuries, near misses, and motor vehicle accidents
• Schedule random drug/alcohol testing on CDL drivers’ accordance to FMSCA guidelines
• Run and review annual MVR / background checks for all drivers.
• Maintain compliant DOT file on all drivers and each vehicle
• Interacts with and supplies information to job applicants, employees, department heads, and public and private agencies
• Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information
• Assist with scheduling and conducting CPR First aid classes and entering data in Administrative portal
• Schedule annual hearing test and noise surveys
• Maintain data entry for KPS / Germany reports
• Develop and maintains monthly safety meetings for STR and AstroTurf
o Deploys OSHA 10/30 training for all new installers and Crew Leaders
• Assist with maintaining reports for the following groups:
o STR manufacturing
Weaving
o Astroturf
C2c, ASG, General Acrylics
o Assist Astroturf Safety Coordinator with challenges as needed

Qualifications
• Education: HS diploma/GED required with college-level training preferred
• Experience: 2 years’ experience in safety management required
• Courses/Certifications/Training:
o Bilingual and good translating skills (English, Spanish) required
o Good communication skills required
o High-level computer skills
o Leadership skills preferred
o Experience in writing standard operating procedures required
