We are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our team at Astrup Drug, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the entire billing and collection cycle. This includes completing hard copy third payer billing forms, submitting documentation to respective payers, and maintaining acceptable aging parameters.

This includes completing hard copy third payer billing forms, submitting documentation to respective payers, and maintaining acceptable aging parameters.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and complete billing information is maintained and submitted to payers.
- Work closely with stores to maintain acceptable aging parameters and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Identify and resolve incomplete and inaccurate billing information to prevent payment problems.
- Prepare reports as assigned by supervision and utilize computer-generated reports to monitor and maintain appropriate billing practices.
Qualifications
- Possess a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard and 10-key calculator.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private 3PP billing.
