We currently have an amazing opportunity open in our Programs Department for a Program Manager. The Program Manager is responsible for designing, and implementing program policies that enables us to manage the day-to-day operations of our in-facility programs. They also manage communications and schedule and organize events or meetings related to the program as well as employee schedules. Currently, ASun Star provides facility-based services including: Day Habilitation, Afterschool Program, Summer Programming, and Weekend Programming to Adults and Adolescents.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and experience working with DDD (Dept. of Developmental Disabilities) and DCF (Dept. of Children and Family).
- Experience managing adult services such as: Day habilitation And/or adolescent services such as: afterschool and summer programming.
- Helps create and/or collaborates on Behavioral Support Plans (BSP)
- Oversees implementation of Behavioral Support Plans (BSP) and tracked data
- Supervises the department staff and direct support staff providing services.
- Helps recruit, hire, orient, and train new staff.
- Tracks trends, data, and outcomes to ensure that the programs are meeting dept and agency goals.
- Communicates with all staff, families, school staff as needed, and actively coordinates and collaborates services.
- Creates and tracks metrics and dept goals.
- Tracks and oversees QA of programs.
- Oversees incident reporting and UIRs
- Coordinates and collaborates with agency depts to ensure continuity of services
- Completes dept staff evaluations and tracks individual staff metrics performance
- Develops, creates and/or oversees curriculums for dept programs.
- Increases participation and census of programs.
- Coordinates all activities that supports all program and community events.
- Any additional tasks/programs assigned by executive team.
Requirements
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Effective & proven leadership skills with 10 staff members or more.
- Excellent Oral and Written communications skills.
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
- Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide on-call services to facilitators, referral sources, and families.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the human services/social services/behavioral health field(s).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- ABA and/or Behavioral Experience preferred.
- Ability to oversee the implementation BSPs (Behavioral Support Plans) and data.
- Proficient experience using Google workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid Driver’s License required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the mental health/psychology or related field (interchangeable with experience).
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- Must have experience in ABA settings
- Must have experience in Day Habilitation settings
- Must be knowledgeable of and have worked with the Division of Developmental Disabilities

Salary : $40,000 - $70,000
