This role will be part of a close-knit, diverse, and motivated team that is working on the cutting edge of AI, machine learning, and new technologies. Partnering with Data Scientists and other Technology teams, you will develop and deploy full lifecycle AI/ML solutions at scale. You will own end to end ML engineering processes from data collection, cleaning, pre-processing, monitoring, model training, and production deployment. Working as part of the Data Science organization to develop rapid prototypes and experiments to drive innovative solutions at Asurion.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Highly motivated developer with a passion for development, optimization, artificial Intelligence, and machine learning
• Understand business use cases and work with our Data Scientists and Technology teams to develop, deploy, and maintain AI and ML models
• Continuously improve ML task automation pipeline to enable rapid data product delivery
• Study and transform data science prototypes and apply appropriate machine learning algorithms and tools
• Serve as ML framework ambassador by teaching junior team members framework fundamentals and drive adoption of those frameworks
• Implement and maintain CI/CD deployment standards and policies
• Document, refactor code bases, train, retrain, and monitor machine learning systems as needed
• Communicate to business owners and leadership in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a direct support of our primary customers
• Self-starter who can work independently and is driven to deliver high quality solutions
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role with a hands-on track record of implementing AI/ML
• Familiarity with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning frameworks (Keras, PyTorch, etc.)
• Familiarity with a modern programming languages like Python, Go, Rust, or similar.
• Linux, Cloud experience to provision instances for development and deployment
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Ability to abstract and containerize ML prototypes into reusable building blocks
• Familiarity managing & orchestrating container deployment (ECS, docker-swarm and/or Kubernetes)
• Ability to write and execute moderate to complex SQL queries and manipulate disparate data sources
