Job Description
PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION
The Technology Logistics Center (TLC) Specialist is responsible for researching, investigating and communicating information in a timely manner. This information can be communicated internally or externally and must be communicated in a professional manner. Inventory Discrepancies and Adjustments need to be reviewed per department guidelines. The TLC Specialist may also ensures our daily customer commitments are met by ensuring product is accurately moved into and out of the department and inspection orders are created as needed to clear priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist in Investigating Correct Sales Order and Correct type of return.
- Confirm Original Equipment (Salvage) and Product Returns (Devices shipped by Asurion).
- For Product Returns: Correct Vendor, PO and Receipt Date.
- Research and Identify devices, i.e. unlocking devices (such as I Phones, Net Books, Tablets) to locate ESN/MEID/IMEI etc.
- Answer inquiries from various Care functions regarding status of specific returns.
- Collect and return subscriber equipment (i.e. misdirected returns, memory cards, accessories, personal items and mail back to subscribers as requested.
- Research all inventory discrepancies detected by area personnel and action accordingly.
- Communicate errors appropriately to area leadership.
- Conduct, as necessary, any search to locate products lost within the system or locations.
- Propose and perform (with approval) transactions (adjustments) per procedures.
- Make inventory adjustments under the approval of Area Leadership.
- Act as primary liaison with Inventory Integrity Team.
- Process Accessories and Client product according to standard process.
- Run transaction and location reports in WMS (Axapta) system.
- Perform daily cycle counts of scheduled product.
- Perform root cause analysis for discrepancies and propose process improvements.
- Participate in all special inventories as required.
- Have a full understanding of Inventory transactions.
- Assist in cross-training employees with existing and new procedures as they are implemented.

- Maintain satisfactory quality performance levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Verify the accuracy of and timely transfer inventory parts into and out of Receiving Inspection locations.
- Using various tools to create inspection orders as needed to fulfill daily shipment needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with management to ensure a continuous flow of work to the floor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Strong PC Skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Routine problem solving and investigation skills.
- Strong customer relations, investigation and communication skills.

- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve business goals and objectives.
- High School Diploma/GED
Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals, and such matters as demands for overtime or shift work. Exposure to various materials including cardboard, various metals and plastics. Exposure to moving equipment and objects in the immediate work area such as automated machinery, fulfillment line, heavily laden carts, and forklifts. Exposure to tools or material with sharp edges which may involve the risk of injury.
