Electrical Technician
Yanmar Compact Equipment North America designs, manufactures and supports a complete range of compact equipment including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders and construction equipment for use in such markets as construction, landscaping, utility, land management and agriculture. The products are sold primarily through a third party, independent dealer network.
OVERVIEW :
The Electrical Technician can diagnose, trouble shoot, and repair Yanmar / ASV electrical system issues. This position is vital in the launch of new products and designs into the assembly line processes. The expectation of this position is to work closely with Electrical Engineering and Quality Control teams to resolve all electrical failures, from internal and / or external sources.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Uses various electrical tooling such as crimpers, pin removers, and multimeters.
- Disassemble and reassemble units for electrical diagnostic and repair.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Performs effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and installation of our electrical systems
- Assist Electrical Engineers to ensure complete machine integration with all electronic functions.
- Report any problems, failures, and other electrical issues verbally and in writing.
- Support assembly with continuous improvement and electrical problem resolution.
- Perform other repairs to units when electrical issues are not present.

Starting Wage : $20.15 (step increases at 6, 12, and 24 months)
This position offers the potential for discretionary bonus compensation up to 6% of base salary.
