Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide personal care assistance to seniors in their homes in Marion. This schedule would be Tuesdays and Thursdays from either 8am-12pm or 9am-1pm on both days. First client is a female and next is a male client. Each is a 2 hour case in Marion. For the female it's primarily a homemaking shift and the male includes personal care. This will be about 8 hours weekly and we can increase as we get cases. The ideal candidate will have experience with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and light housekeeping. . We are looking for a dependable and caring person, and can get you more hours as we get them.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience as a caregiver
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable and have a positive attitude
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and light housekeeping
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Run errands as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor the client's health and well-being
- Report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor
