Their role is to provide the support, knowledge and tools needed for successful career placement with At Home. In partnership with business leaders and Talent Acquisition leadership, this role will develop talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire the best in class for store operations leadership. The Talent Acquisition Specialist support relationships with external candidates and talent pipeline efforts to ensure appropriate candidate flow and pipeline.
Acquire industry knowledge and competitive market data and proactively use this information to drive potential changes to the staffing plan. The TAS will plan and execute talent acquisition initiatives leveraging all resources, ensuring an efficient and effective process while providing a positive candidate experience.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Builds relationships with leaders to develop & establish recruiting strategies to support growth
- Provides proactive, timely, cost-effective recruitment and screening of qualified candidates from sourcing through the hiring process
- Leverages recruiting tools, social media, recruitment marketing and collateral, cold calling, networking and other sourcing channels to identify potentialcandidates
- Communicates with the candidates regarding career opportunities with At Home through recruitment techniques that articulate our team member growth story
- Consult with multiple business partners regarding Recruitment, Diversity and internal sourcing
- Supports the opening and relocation of stores by recommending sources for talent and manages timelines
- Initiates and fosters relationships with potential candidates for the purposes of future talent pipeline
- Documents candidate information, sources, screening activities, interviews, offers and hires for the purpose of meeting compliance requirements and measuring effectiveness of tools in place
- Acts as consultant to hiring managers by identifying and recommending candidates for hire
- Amends and posts requisitions; sources applicants, reviews resumes, screens and recommends candidates, salary negotiations, ensures background screens are conducted
- Follows up with all new Store Director hires to ensure that their onboarding, training and employee experience is at or above our brand promise
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years previous experience in exempt-level recruiting, negotiating compensation and closing deals
- Retail field, restaurant field or search firm experience is strongly preferred
- Analytical, detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and strong communication skills
