At Home Healthcare is a Non-medical home health agency.
Position Description
The Scheduler confirms and prepares daily visit schedules with our client and HHA's. Plus maintains a computer based scheduling system to track all visits and other required information.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
- Contact clients by telephone to work out a schedule.
- Receive incoming calls from Clients, Home Health Aides and Case Managers.
- Enters all required information into a computer based system and maintains necessary follow ups as needed.
- Prepare client data for scheduled visit including set up of new clients with all required documents.
- Prepares and updates visit schedule for next business day and upcoming weeks.
- Stay in communication with client and Home Health Aide.
- Maintains client confidentiality.
REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
- 1-2 years of experience in home health scheduling preferred.
- Having knowledge of EMR system preferred
- Ability to adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
- Skill in teamwork and maintaining relationships with patients, home health aides and coworkers.
