We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Business Intelligence Analyst to serve our corporate client on the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. This position will support Global EHS Operations for all employees in corporate sites around the world. The successful candidate will be an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer obsessed individual who is passionate about EHS.
This position reports directly to the EHS Operations Program Manager and supports various programmatic needs and delivery to meet organizational objectives. The EHS Business Intelligence Analyst will efficiently execute various tasks associated with risk management, and identify, coordinate, and drive improvements by building innovative solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple EHS reports and dashboards to support managers globally, and have proven experience using Quicksight, Tableau, and Excel for data analysis.
The salary range for this position is $75 - $82K annually.
Responsibilities
- Develop and administrate EHS data reports on Tableau Server utilizing various EHS-related data sources.
- Proficiently utilize Microsoft Excel to deliver data needs to the EHS Team.
- Learn and implement new systems for data reporting.
- Collaborate with Corporate EHS Global Operations team members and other corporate stakeholders to support the execution of functional goals and objectives.
- Manage change efficiently on relevant projects and processes to reduce organizational impact and fatigue.
- Identify and utilize appropriate data and metrics to manage performance monitoring and track project and process success.
- Assist with other related tasks as assigned.
Basic Competencies:
- 2 years of experience in the Data Analysis field, preferably within EHS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Proficiency in either Quicksight or Tableau, and familiarity with the other.
- Ability to perform many concurrent assignments and determine the need for changing priorities.
Preferred Competencies:
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents.
- Experience with SQL.
- Familiarity with AWS data storage systems such as Redshift and Athena.
- Exceptional organizational, influencing, and leadership skills.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Quantitative and analytical skills; experience with advanced use of statistical analysis applications.
- Speaking-listening-writing skills--attention to detail and proactive self-starter.
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic, ambiguous environment.
