Job Summary:

Being an ambassador for our restaurant brand by playing a key role in contributing to the smooth operation of the front of the house by providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing or resetting tables and ensuring that the restaurant is well stocked with necessary items such as silverware, plates, napkins, and cups of water glasses.

Job Description

Functions and Competencies:

• Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning and setting tables, decorations, service plates, and utensils.
• Refill salt, pepper, and other condiments at tables
• Protects the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
• Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean, replacing damaged or soiled pages, and cleaning chalkboards.
• Maintains table settings by removing courses as completed, refilling water glasses, and being attentive to guests additional needs.
• Clear tables of used dishware and napkins
• Assist servers with food delivery
• Clear tables after meals, and return dishes to the kitchen
• Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked
• Supports waitstaff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands and busser stations.
• Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after meal.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware
• Close dining room.
• Keep dining area clean and presentable by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and vacuuming floors, and removing trash from the facility.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests as needed.

Education and Training:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Restaurant experience preferred

· Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment

· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

· Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds

Salary:

$14.00 an hour

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.35 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 25 per week
