Job Overview
This is an Independent Contractor position. You will set your prices and pick your schedule. Work as little or as much as you want. There is a room available for monthly rental or you can start with a 60/40 percentage as you build your clientele. There is a prime opportunity here- the massage therapists can refer you clients.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management and patient assessment, providing holistic care to individuals seeking relief from various conditions. This role requires a deep understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and patient care practices. As an Acupuncturist, you will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote healing and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
- Administer acupuncture treatments in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide education to patients regarding acupuncture techniques, benefits, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay informed about advancements in acupuncture techniques and related fields to enhance service delivery.
Experience
- Certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution is required.
- Proven experience in pain management and acute pain management is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential for effective patient care.
- Experience conducting physical examinations and providing excellent patient service is preferred.
- Current CPR Certification is a plus, ensuring readiness for any emergency situations that may arise during treatment sessions.
