Job Description

Established 35 year company is looking for an experienced Machinist (2nd shift)

23-$26 / hr
2nd Shift 2pm-11pm M-F
Medical & Dental Benefits offered

What will I be doing?

Responsible for measuring and recording mechanical fits

Perform machine repairs as required using hand tools

Manufacture and repair parts per customer order and instruction

Maintains department machinery and basic tools

Responsible for keeping machinery and measuring devices in tolerance

Complies with company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations

Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Have your own tools

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Ability to speak effectively with management and co-workers

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and compute rate, ratio, or percent

Ability to read and interpret drawing and / or blueprints

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Salary : $23 - $26
