We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Person (Independent Contractor) to join our team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate your delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of your delivery vehicle.
Experience
- Previous experience in a delivery driver or courier role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently is a plus.
- Experience with heavy lifting, moving, or warehouse operations is beneficial.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
