Rate Field Parking Security Rep
Part time / Evening and weekends availability required

Rate Field
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safety and security of each guest at events held at Rate Field. Work with Standard Parking representatives in the parking lots around Rate Field.
Demonstrated Skills:
- Active member of the police force or retired in good standing
- Promote a family atmosphere, guest enjoyment and safety.

· The position requires ability to stand for 3 quarters (¾) of shift. The use of hands, stooping, kneeling or reaching with hands may be required during shift. There may be lifting up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements: color and the ability to focus. Team members are expected to fully perform the essential functions of the job.
· The individual is required to walk up and down several stairs throughout the duration of the event. The individual may be required to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places or work in outdoor weather conditions.
Specific Duties:
· Visual search of guest’s vehicles for prohibited items prior to admittance into the parking lots of the facilities
· Respond to exterior radio calls
· Roam assigned parking lots for policy enforcement and crowd management
· Check credentials in restricted-access parking areas
· Monitor parking lots and keep aisles and emergency exits clear at all times
· Have complete knowledge of all facility policies and services.
· Be aware of safety hazards and reporting them appropriately
· Assist guests with ticket problems such as duplicate, unreadable, wrong date and/or lost/stolen tickets
· Handling guest problems/complaints and directing them to a Parking Security Supervisor or Guest Relations Booth if unable to accommodate
· Documenting and reporting all incidents to a Parking Security Supervisor
· Miscellaneous operational (day of event) duties as directed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Excellent speaking voice
- Superb customer service skills
- Knowledge of switchboards and phone systems
- Active member of the police force or retired in good standing
Additional Information:
- Starting Pay Rate = $25..00 per hour
