In this dynamic role, you'll lead the charge in crafting and executing innovative sourcing strategies for key commodities and categories at local, regional, and global levels. You’ll use your skills to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient solutions, with a mix of 70% strategic initiatives and 30% operational tasks. This position is perfect for a problem-solver who thrives on managing supplier relationships, driving cost reductions, and influencing high-level decision-making.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive Savings: Forecast and report on economic savings while finding innovative cost-reduction opportunities.
• Negotiate & Strategize: Lead price adjustments, negotiate long-term agreements, and award new business for maximum value.
• Analyze & Optimize: Use data to benchmark performance, identify market trends, and influence sourcing decisions.
• Supplier Management: Build strong supplier relationships by addressing challenges, mitigating risks, and fostering development.
• Lead Projects: Support key projects to align commodity goals with company objectives, ensuring seamless execution.

Focus Areas:

• Strategic vs. Operational: 70% strategic, focusing on commodity strategy, cost reductions, and supplier management; 30% operational.
• Category Management: Develop market-aligned strategies, handle RFPs, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, analyze market conditions, and communicate risks and opportunities.

Collaboration at the Core:

• Work closely with global teams and senior leaders to present strategies, align goals, and ensure success.
• Partner with engineering and product management teams to support exciting new product launches and service part strategies.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 3 years of sourcing, strategic procurement, and supplier management experience.
• Bonus points for certification in Professional Supply Chain Management or experience in commodity/category management.
