ATA Services Inc. is currently looking for a Casualty Insurance Adjuster to work on a long-term assignment with the State of Vermont's Department of Health Access. Please review the job details listed below:
- $24.00 per hour; weekly pay.
- 40 hours per week
- Start Date: ASAP
- Work location: Hybrid.
Job Overview
The individual will work on incoming requests to determine if the Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) has an interest in a settlement from an attorney or insurer.
The individual will create an electronic casualty file(s) and documents in associated Excel Spreadsheets and Third Party Liability (TPL) system.
The individual will correspond with the Assistant Attorney General’s Office, DVHA attorneys, external attorneys, and insurers. The individual provides file updates, revisions, recoups, collects payments, and closes files. Closing files includes files with and without payment(s) via coordination and correspondence with the states’ fiscal agent, Gainwell Technologies.
The individual will assist in preparing reduction calculations and recommendations to the Supervisor and AAG’s office to facilitate settlement agreements for collection and closure of files.
