Since 1996 ATA Services has been the eyes & ears of the ATM industry. ATA services over 50,000 ATMs across the US and Reports issues on & around the site which is critical information for banks.
JOB DESCRIPTION -
*Note the route is a driving route which extends to South Bend, Grand Rapids, Mackinaw, Saginaw, and Detroit. There will be Per Diems issued on overnight stays for this route.
As a technician you can be your own boss and have the flexibility to choose when and how you complete your route for the month. This position involves driving to each ATM to service the site (cleaning, surveying & replacing damaged stickers). Services will then be reported and tracked through our mobile app, StikkyData.
This route will require between 60-90 hours per month, it is paid on a per ATM complete basis, meaning the speed at which you work is up to you.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time position (will require multiple consecutive workdays to maximize your pay)
- If the ATMs are requiring a full workday outside a two-hour radius, then you will be given a $120 per diem for each full working day that you cannot make it home. You can keep what you don't spend.
- Route to be complete between the 1st and 25th of each month
- Periodic emergency cleanings (occurs about once a month with up to 72 hours to complete, and some extra traveling may be required.)
- Some locations may require scheduled visits in advance (some sites are in secure locations such as military bases, courthouses, and airports)
- Sites can be complete during business hours of the location IE. gas station, bank, supermarket. - Most sites have weekend access.
- Some sites will require limited business hours access such as M-F 9 to 5.
- All sites must be visited during daylight hours except for well-lit interior sites (such as gas stations) or specific nighttime services.
- Some after hour work may be required depending on the type of service for the bank (some sites require their lights to be checked at night for legal compliance).
- You are free to create your working schedule within these constraints.
Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Locate, drive to, and verify that ATMs are compliant with bank standards and federal laws. (Our mobile app and documentation will assist you with this process step by step.)
- Clean and detail each ATM to remove all grime, and graffiti.
- Photograph, survey, and document issues on the site.
- Take measurements of the ATM to ensure it meets ADA requirements.
- Track and maintain an inventory of supplies, decals and other components.
- Replace any decals or equipment as required by each bank.
- Correct any mistakes made at an already visited site.
Work Requirements:
- A reliable, economic vehicle with verifiable auto insurance (comfortable to travel long distances for extended amounts of time.)
- Ability to work several consecutive days. Not a job for any individual with a pre-existing 9-5.
- Moderate iPhone and computer skills (our mobile app is used for data gathering at each site).
- Access to a computer with a printer in order to view and print documents on a monthly basis.
- Moderate problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Maintenance skills (operating a caulking gun, removing glue under old stickers, using a digital level, etc.)
- Ability to climb a ladder.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to clearly communicate through phone, email, and text (will be texting photos back and forth for clarification).
- Ability to reliably schedule your work month (a gameplan email is sent out at the beginning of each month).
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Ability to maintain and manage your work schedule and effectively communicate changes.
- Must be able to follow written instructions.
