Position Summary
3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:30am) CNC Machinist to support the manufacturing of injection molds. Able to work efficiently by multitasking and planning unattended machine time to maintain cost efficiency and meet tight deadline requirements to meet customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Program vertical milling machines using Mastercam software.
- Use Solid works and communicate with other departments to meet specific needs.
- Running Haas mills and Makino high speed mills.
- Working with job leaders to manufacture details on various projects.
- Inspection and documentation of critical machined areas.
- Keep work area clean and organized via 5-S mentality.
- Holding tight tolerances when finishing details.
- Multitask and plan for unattended machine time.
Qualifications
Required Competencies, Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years in CNC and Injection Mold building.
- Ability to work independently or on a team is required.
- Flexibility with work schedules and overtime is required.
- Experience with Makino and Haas CNCs is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
- Knowledge of injection molding is required.
Preferred
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Education and Job Experience Requirements
- Successful completion of trade school and/or apprenticeship program
