Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end engineering strategy and execution across infrastructure, data engineering, product engineering, MLOps, web development, and security.
- Architect and manage a scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure to support our AI precision medicine platform.
- Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality software products, including both internal tools and customer-facing solutions (e.g., web apps, APIs, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with research, product, and other teams to ensure engineering supports the company's strategic objectives and timelines.
- Drive engineering best practices, including CI / CD pipelines, code quality, testing, and deployment automation.
- Build and scale the engineering team, fostering a high-performance culture and mentoring talent across the organization.
- Ensure the security of data and infrastructure, implement industry best practices, and respond to any security incidents. Achieve SOC2 type II compliance.
- Develop and manage engineering budgets, resource planning, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
- Stay up to date on new technologies and trends, continuously evaluating and implementing tools to optimize engineering workflows and performance.
