**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Avatas, Inc. This role will involve working closely with our engineers to design and develop building facilities of various uses and construction materials.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and be proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT. Experience with structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro and Tekla Structures is also essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting analyses to develop design options or recommendations, assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications, and performing routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
You will work independently on small assignments and assist senior engineers on projects. Additionally, you will participate in building inspections as required.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
- Engineer-in-Training certificate or ability to obtain within 6-months
- Valid Driver's License
