A Service Advisor serves as the primary liaison between customers and service technicians, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers promptly, obtain their vehicle information, and clearly document all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
- Consultation and Recommendations: Discuss necessary repairs and possible alternatives with technicians, and advise customers on suggested services and options.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule service appointments, manage the workflow, and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
- Cost Estimation and Communication: Develop cost estimates for repairs or maintenance, inform customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections, and keep them updated on their vehicle's repair status.
- Administrative Duties: Manage administrative tasks such as processing repair orders, invoices, and maintaining accurate records of services and transactions.
- Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and build long-lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 2 years in the automotive industry as a Service Advisor
- ASE Certification is a plus
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills and familiarity with diagnostic tools and digital vehicle inspection software.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license and insurability.
- Testing: Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and work physical.
