What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager Northeast Territory position at ATC Automation?
The Business Development Manager position directs and supports the sales effort by managing, targeting and supporting potential ATC Customers, Prospects and Leads. The position is responsible to promote ATC Automation's capabilities, sell the company's solutions at best possible profit margins, help achieve positive recognition and growth, implement Sales development programs and achieve sales targets.
Key efforts include; a) growing business segments of Life Science, Transportation, Energy and Consumer, b) working with sales reps that may or may not be within your territory or key account responsibility, c) working with other Business Development Managers , and d) identifying and closing business while working closely with the Application team, Project teams, and Management in pursuit and support of new and existing customers.
How You Will Make a Difference:
- Understanding Strategic objectives while supporting territory needs to develop new and existing businesses.
- Targeting key accounts and winning technologies in markets that utilize ATC Automation experience and core competencies.
- Establish territory priorities based on ATC direction and overall goals, meeting customers and prospects needs, making local and regional sales calls, strategic presentations to prospects, managing and supporting relationships that follow up on operational and senior levels.
- New market penetration in Transportation, Consumer and Medical Device assembly.
- Reinforce the company's Sales expectations through coaching and feedback.
- Utilize, update and maintain ATC's Customer Relationship Manager (CRM).
- Attendance, support and follow up of regional trade shows.
- Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
- Travel is required.

- 1-5 years experience in related field
