Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans.
- Administer contrast agents as required.
- Monitor patients during scanning to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Adjust scan parameters based on the specific area of the body being imaged.
- Review and analyze images for quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with radiologists to interpret and report imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure.
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
- Assist in emergency medical situations during scanning when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Experience: 2-year experience required, CT Tech and X-Ray experience needed
- First-time Travelers: No
- Certifications/License: BLS and ARRT-R
- Machines: GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba
- Charting: EPIC required
- On-Call: No
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- COVID & FLU: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Locals allowed: Requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location, zip code 75751
- RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission
