Day 40 (4x10, Weekdays) 07:00-17:30, occasional late shift

Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is thrilled to welcome a compassionate and skilled Electrophysiology Tech to a unit in Dallas, TX. As a crucial member of our team, Electrophysiology Tech will ensure the safe, effective, and efficient care of our patients. As an Electrophysiology Lab Tech, you will identify steps in established procedures to provide technical assistance for selected diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, which include supply, equipment operation, monitoring, imaging and use of medical devices.  Join us in making a significant impact on our patients' well-being and become part of a team that values empathy, professional growth, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Use hemodynamic and ECG monitoring, including interpretation of data.
• Scrub assists for all diagnostic and electrophysiology procedures including preparation of supplies and instruments, preparation and maintenance of the sterile field, preparation and manipulation of cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices
• Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician
• Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy.
• Assist to coordinate procedure schedule as assigned
• Assist with inventory control as directed by the supervisor / manager
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Certification as (RCIS), or (RCES), or (ARRT), or 3 years of Cath Lab or EP experience
• ER or ICU experience highly preferred
• Allied Health Degree
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required within 1 year
• On-Call:
• Weekend Requirement: No
• COVID & FLU:
• Locals allowed: Requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission
