Pay package:

WEEKLY PAY-Weekly Gross $5622

Blended Hourly Rate - $140.55/hr.

Schedule: 16-week Contract
Day 40 (5x8, M-F) 08:00-17:00

Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Radiation Oncology Physicist to a unit in Greensboro, NC. Radiation Oncology Physicist plays a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients, working closely with oncologists to develop and implement therapeutic radiation treatment plans. You will contribute your expertise in the physics of radiation to ensure safety and efficacy of treatment. Responsibilities

• Designing, planning and implementing radiation treatments for cancer patients
• Ensuring the accuracy of radiation doses and the safe delivery of radiation to patients
• Collaborating with radiation oncologists and medical dosimetrists to develop optimal treatment plans
• Maintaining, calibrating, and ensuring the accuracy of radiation therapy equipment
• Developing and implementing quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of treatment delivery
• Conducting research to improve treatment techniques and outcomes
• Training and supervising radiation therapy staff in the safe use of equipment
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in radiation therapy and medical physics
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and safety standards
• Evaluating and managing potential radiation risks to patients and staff

Requirements:

• Experience: 2-year experience required
• First-time Travelers: YES
• Certifications/License: ABR - Therapeutic medical physics, BLS
• Additional PREFERENCES: • Eclipse Treatment Planning  • Brachytherapy (HDR/LDR)
• Machines: 2x Varian TrueBeam, 1x Philips BigBore, Eclipse TPS, GammaMed HDR, Variseed LDR prostate
• Charting: EPIC Experience Preferred
• On-Call: No
• Weekend Requirement: No
• COVID & FLU: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
• Locals allowed: Requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location, zip code 27403
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission
