**Job Summary:** We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Qualified Medication Aides to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in the administering of medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the well-being and health of our residents. **Responsibilities:** - Administer medications to residents according to prescribed dosages and schedules - Document medication administration and resident response accurately in medical records - Monitor residents for any changes in condition and report to the nursing staff - Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized medication cart **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program - Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification - Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures - Experience in hospice care, acute care, or senior care settings is preferred - Familiarity with medical documentation systems such as Cerner is a plus - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment - Compassionate attitude towards patient care, especially in nursing home or dementia care settings This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working alongside a supportive healthcare team.
