Description :
Provides advance nursing assessment, care, and documentation of patient status during their stay in the
Cath Lab, inclusive of but not limited to the administration of medications, provides patient comfort,
support, awareness, and education. Perform these responsibilities pre-procedurally, while the procedure is in progress, and post-procedurally.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to :
- Patient Assessment
- Conscious Sedation
- Hemodynamic Monitoring
- Circulates
- Assists in Scrubbing
- Sheath Removal
- Patient Care Coordinator
- Maintaining Inventory
This is 40 hrs a week with rotating days off. This position DOES require the applicant to take evening, weekend, and holiday calls. They must be able to respond to the hospital in 30 minutes in a call situation. To guarantee hours may be floated during the low census.
