Mental Health Counselor - QMHP
Job Summary :
ATC - Northwest is recruiting for an experienced mental health therapist to work with incarcerated adult consumers presenting a range of mental health symptoms. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide quality mental health services to our patients, helping them in their journey towards healing and wellness. Candidates with lived experience of the judicial system are encouraged to apply.
Requirements :
- Oregon license as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical mental health setting, preferably working with diverse populations
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating mental health disorders, including trauma-informed care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues
- Ability to work independently and within a team, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other technology used for documentation and communication
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and cultural competency
