Job Description: Power Supply Electrical Engineering

I. BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

To perform electrical engineering work which is specific in nature and requires knowledge and application of basic engineering principles, theories and concepts to complete assignments under direct technical supervision.

II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs specific technical assignments of an investigatory, design or test nature requiring analysis and evaluation, selection and application of basic engineering principles, theories, and techniques.
• Receives directions and instructions in the form of assignment objectives, alternative approaches and solutions from supervisor or senior engineering personnel.
• Works from specific assignments from supervisor or senior engineering personnel which may include design and development of specific components, circuits
• Instructs and directs the work of technicians, if assigned.
• Prepares charts, diagrams and reports expressing technical progress and accomplishments measured against specific plans
  
  

Preferred Skills And Education

• Power Supply/Systems Design
• Analog Circuit Design
• Digital Circuit Design
• Programing language experience
• SPICE or equivalent analog circuit simulation tool experience
• Board Design
• Schematic capture and PCB design software
• RF circuit design
• Proficient in active and passive electrical components
• Ability to read schematics
  
  

Team player and resourceful in achieving goals

• GPA of 3.0 or higher strongly preferred
  
  

Required Skills And Education

Seeking graduates with one or both of the following

• AS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
