ATC Auto Truck & RV Center – Where Every Mile Feels Like Home
Located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, ATC is a family-owned dealership and service center with over 45 years of experience keeping cars, semi-trucks, and RVs rolling strong. From expert repairs to a wide selection of new and used RVs, we’re your all-in-one destination for adventure and reliability.
We’re more than people, we’re a tight-knit team that treats customers and coworkers like family. At ATC you’re not a number, you’re part of the journey. If you believe in honest work, happy customers, and a few good laughs along the way, you’ll fit right in.
Job Description
Imagine you’re the air traffic controller for our repair shop. You’re the person who makes sure everything lands safely—from the moment a customer walks in with a concern, to when they drive away with confidence. You don’t turn wrenches, but you help make sure the right repairs get done, and everyone stays informed. At ATC, the Service Writer is the heartbeat of our shop.
WHY we do it:
At ATC, we keep America moving—whether it’s a family heading out in their RV, a trucker delivering freight across the country, or a customer bringing in their car for routine service. We exist to provide honest, expert repair and sales services while treating everyone who walks through our doors like family.
HOW we do it:
We do this by offering full-service maintenance and repair for RVs, semi-trucks, and automobiles, with a dedicated service team who listens to customer needs, coordinates with technicians, and makes sure every job runs smoothly and every customer leaves happy.
WHAT the Service Writer does:
A Service Writer is the bridge between the customer and our service team. They greet customers, understand their vehicle concerns, write service tickets, keep customers informed, and work closely with technicians to make sure everything gets done right. It's part customer service, part project manager, and part problem-solver.
