Job Summary
ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse for a Radiology unit assignment in Everett, WA. The Catheterization Laboratory Nurse is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of specialized equipment, assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, and providing patient care during the procedures. The nurse works under the direct supervision of the physician and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory manager or supervisor.
Responsibilities
Duties : Circulate, Conscious Sedation, Scrub
- Preparing patients for cardiovascular procedures
- Administering medications and preparing equipment for the procedure
- Assisting doctors during the catheterization procedure
- Monitoring patient vital signs during procedures
- Providing post-procedure care and assessment, including monitoring for complications
- Educating patients and their families about the procedure, post-procedure care, and any follow-up treatments or appointments
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as cardiac physicians, radiologists, and anesthesiologists
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information
