Schedule: 13-week Contract
Day Shift (4x10, start 9a or 11a) 40 hours guaranteed

Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is thrilled to welcome a compassionate and skilled OR Nurse to join our team for a contract assignment in Seattle, WA. The Operating Room Scrub/Circulator RN provides scrub/circulator nurse services in the operating room during surgical procedures and as a member of the surgical team, assists as needed according to established procedures. Job Requirements:

• Experience: 2 years of experience with travel experience preferred, will consider less than 2 years' experience if strong candidate.
• Strong candidate would be experience at a hospital of similar or larger size (20 or more suites with 50 cases per day)
• Certification: BLS required
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of WA required or approved compact state of residence
• Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Cerner
• Experience - Circulating duties- prefer someone with knowledge in multiple types of cases. Davinci XI experience required.
• Additional Requirements: compliance with current facility health standards

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing surgical patients with perioperative care in recovery, procedure, and operating rooms.
• Stocking operating rooms with sterile surgical equipment, linens, and supplies.
• Developing and implementing nursing care plans for surgical patients.
• Preparing patients for operations.
• Ensuring that the equipment and operating rooms are sterile.
• Assisting during surgeries.
• Caring for patients during the postoperative stage.
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative nursing care for the patient.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and maintaining a sterile surgical environment.
