Radiologic Technologist Contract Position
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) (Contract)
Location: Tacoma WA
Position Overview:
ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining imaging equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: March 2025
- Shift: Day/Eve/NOC
- Pay Rate: $60 to $65 per hour,WEEKLY
Job Requirements:
Education & Certification:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent state certification. State licensure as required by law.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist (new graduates may be considered).
- Experience with digital imaging and PACS systems preferred. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology.
Documents:
- BLS Certification
- COVID Vaccinated
- Recent PPD Test or Chest X-Ray
- Clear criminal background check(s) & drug screening
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients for imaging procedures
- Operating imaging equipment
- Administering contrast agents
- Ensuring safety and minimizing radiation exposure
- Maintaining imaging equipment
- Documenting patient information
