DIRECTOR OF NURSING (DON) – CONTRACT/TEMP-TO-PERM
Location: Bellingham, WA
Pay: $2800/weekly OT rate $105
Contract Length: 13 weeks (Temp-to-Perm option available)
Job Description:
ATC Northwest is seeking an experienced Regional Nurse to join our team in Bellingham, WA. This is a contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role after the 13-week probation period.A Regional Nurse is responsible to oversee buildings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high-quality patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage scheduling.
- Supervise and manage nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Foster a positive work environment and address staff concerns.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Monitor and address patient concerns, incidents, or changes in condition.
- Communicate with families regarding patient care and concerns.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Director of Nursing
- Active RN license in Washington State
- BLS Certification
- COVID Vaccinated
- Recent PPD Test or Chest X-Ray
- Clear criminal background check(s) & drug screening
