What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiver position at ATC?
SUMMARY: Receives, stores, and distributes material, products within establishments by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months receiving related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read English and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Must be able to read and understand English.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Validate all shipping documents and product has no visible damage
- Ability to operate electronic devices, and/or a computer.
- Must be able to become forklift certified.
- Ability to maintain 5s and lean practices.
- Ability to multi-task and be a Team player.
- Previous receiving experience a plus.
- Understand and perform according to operating instructions.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
