Summary of Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Substation Services Standards Engineer to develop and maintain the design, material and equipment specification, construction standards and engineering practices for our substation equipment, including power electronics devices.Essential Responsibilities:
You’ll use your Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years experience to provide expertise of substation equipment supporting Planning, Operations, Engineering, Construction and Maintenance activities. You’ll also support project teams with methods and standards development to ensure the design and installation of substation assets are in compliance with industry standards and best practices. As an asset subject matter expert, you will also be involved in research and development activities to keep the company aligned with latest technologies and work with Asset Managers supporting life-cycle asset management. Expertise in grounding systems, circuit breakers, GIS and/or capacitor banks is a plus.
