Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of HVAC service, maintenance, and repairs, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and longevity.

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, identifying the root cause of problems and implementing effective solutions.

Replace and install HVAC equipment, including compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, and other components, as needed.

Test and adjust HVAC system controls, including thermostats, dampers, and valves, to ensure proper operation and comfort.

Interpret and follow technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics to accurately perform service, repair, and installation tasks.

Maintain accurate records of all service, maintenance, and repair activities, including documenting parts used, work performed, and recommendations for future actions.

Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries, explaining service procedures, and offering recommendations for system upgrades or improvements.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with HVAC systems, including handling refrigerants and electrical components.

Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

Collaborate with team members, including other technicians and support staff, to ensure efficient workflow, timely completion of tasks, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools, equipment, and service vehicles are properly maintained and in good working condition.

Job requirements

Possess a valid EPA card preferred(Environmental Protection Agency) and OSHA 10 certification needed

Demonstrated average verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients

Must have above-average technical skills in HVAC systems, including proficiency in working with various manufacturer types. In-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems is essential

Prior experience or knowledge in sheet metal work would be beneficial in performing the responsibilities of the role

Maintain a good driving record and pass a CORI check

Ideally, candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair work. The desired experience level reflects proficiency in handling various HVAC-related tasks
