ATCO STRUCTURES AND LOGISTICS (USA) INC. (“ASL-USA”) is seeking a Yard Maintenance Technician for our Space Rentals location in Salt Lake City, UT. The role of Yard Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the grounds and buildings maintained using necessary equipment as well as keeping machinery and other equipment detailed.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Perform general yard maintenance and overall preparation of lease fleet: spraying weeds, mowing, weed trimming, picking up trash, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the buildings
- Perform "make-ready" cleaning of units prior to lease
- Ensure all tires are inflated properly on all buildings and equipment on the line and sales lot
- Occasional maintenance of company-owned equipment (forklifts, gators, company trucks)
- Operate the forklift to move and store buildings in the yard
- Ensure the supplies are replenished and the Yard is both organized and free of debris and potential hazards.
- Perform service-related tasks in the yard as requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
- 2 Years’ experience with general labor and general repairs.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is a must.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Position requires nearly constant physical activity, including the ability to walk and stand for extended periods, 6-8 hrs a day.
- Position requires regular use of hands/arms with ability to reach and grab, 6-8 hrs a day.
- Constant ability to speak/hear and use specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus, 8-10 hrs a day.
- Requires frequent and regular handling (lift or carry) of objects up to fifty (50) pounds, 2-5 hrs a day.
- Position may require occasional need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; climb or balance 0-2 hrs a day.
