Associate Accountant

Qualifications:

• High School / DEG required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Must have core accounting experience
• Knowledge and experience with subsidiary accounting and equity accounting
• Oracle ERP general ledger experience
• Ability to understand debits, credits, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements
• Able to communicate clearly
• Experience with PC-based spreadsheet and data processing applications, heavy concentration with Microsoft Excel (formatting, calculations, pivot tables, vlookups)
• Analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong innovative problem-solving capabilities
• Knowledge of accounting guidance and procedures
• Knowledge of a variety of accounting classifications such as assets (prepaids), liability, and expense
• Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently
• In-depth experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
• Experience with Oracle Smart View is preferred

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
